Psychology grounded in people, context and consequence.
Memberships and recognition
Naomi's path into counselling wasn't conventional.
With four degrees behind her, including a major in criminology, she went on to found the only legal practice in the region to place psychological support inside family law casework itself - a model that helped thousands of family court litigants and their children navigate one of the most damaging systems a family can face.
She is now completing a Clinical Master of Psychology, with a thesis examining how Australia's family courts contribute to re-traumatisation. Her clinical work is grounded in the same evidence base, applied one client at a time.
Naomi is the published author of Is It Domestic Violence or Just Violence? and the Recovery Journal, with a second manuscript underway, and has built a growing media profile as a commentator on trauma, coercive control and family violence.
